Fire And Frost....Anticipation

I am always a big fan of Teen Fire and Frost. I had only a few issues with this image. Teen Fire's fingers seemed a bit noodle like. I understand that may be a result of the style but it was something I noticed. To me the one big issue is not with the girls but with the blade. A viewer would assume that the girls would be centered under the blade so that it would strike them at the approximately the same time. Instead the blade appears to be anchored somewhere over Teen Fire. Also of note, the motion lines imply a lateral motion vs an arcing motion. Besides these few nitpicking items the image is a striking classic take on DiD and one wonders how many twirls the dastardly villain manages to get out of his waxed mustachio off camera!
